Siren (Dalebrook Tidal Pool)

Seductive and perilous
Oh, the call of the sea!

This large-scale watercolour painting on canvas is the proverbial snapshot of the living ocean. The forever shifting, sighing and crashing sea that collapses into sparkling spray as its rhythms collide with the shore. 

The setting is that of Dalebrook Tidal Pool in Kalk Bay. A space dear to my memories of feeling joy and release as the swell in the bay disrupts and cleanses the tidal pool and its occupants.
