A mysterious glow filters the cloud reflections over the ocean
The moon a mirror for another light
Whispers of a new beginning buffer perceptions,
those persistent photons of a natural world

This work is a monotype print collage. The original painterly print has the central moon form shifted through the collage process to suggest a darkened reflection. A Moonshadow, imagined as both a darkness and a glowing form. I’ve been thinking about solar eclipses and new moons, reflections as mirrors and the memory properties of water.

All papers and glue used in the chine colle collage process are archival.
