This limited edition Mokuhanga woodblock print is inspired by the work of the famous Ukiyo-e printer, Hokusai. It is a multiple colour woodblock printed on washi paper. The woodblocks were carved while I was on residency in Japan. The irises were in full bloom at the time of my residency so the drawing was made from the plants in the residency's garden.
