What is an apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship is a training program where a person works for an experienced artisan to learn a specific trade, craft or professional skill. It combines paid hands-on work with classroom instruction or mentorship, allowing learners to earn a wage while gaining certified qualifications. 

HOW THE APPRENTICESHIP AT MOKUHANGA EDITIONS WORKS

Paid Work: You will receive a small salary and employment contract.

On-the-Job Training: You will be required on participate in studio activities and basic tasks assigned to you as part of the edition print program.

Study Time: Part of your hours will involve technical instruction or schooling. You will also be able to pursue a self-motivated project in your own time.
